We are looking for a people-oriented and hands-on Head of Human Resources to join our team in Romania.
With work location in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania - around 30 minutes from Brașov.
In this role, you will be a trusted HR partner to local management, plant leadership, employees, and the international HR organization. You will lead the local HR function, support business operations across the organization, and drive key people initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This role is for someone who is ready to lead - not necessarily someone who has already held the title. Whether you are an experienced HR leader or an ambitious HR Business Partner or HR Generalist who feels ready to step into your first Head of HR role, we would love to hear from you. Main Responsibilities
WHAT YOU BRING
- Act as a trusted HR business partner to local management, plant leadership, and the international HR organization.
- Lead and further develop the local HR function, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
- Partner closely with production, sales, logistics, finance, maintenance, and all support functions across the business.
- Stay close to employees and day-to-day operations, building strong relationships with both office and shop-floor teams.
- Drive the full recruitment lifecycle for both blue-collar and white-collar positions, including production, sales, both technical/specialist, and leadership roles.
- Support workforce planning, onboarding, employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Coach and support managers in building high-performing teams and developing their people.
- Ensure smooth HR operations, including personnel administration, HR documentation, and coordination with the outsourced payroll provider.
- Monitor HR KPIs, support HR reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Advise managers on Romanian labor legislation, employee relations, disciplinary matters, working time, shift organization, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure effective local implementation of Group HR policies, processes, and initiatives.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of solid HR experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role. Previous people leadership experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. Candidates with strong leadership potential and readiness to step into a first HR leadership role will also be considered
- Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.
Education
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Conditions of Employment
- Work Location: Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania - around 30 minutes from Brașov
