We are looking for a passionate and technically strong Head of Maintenance to take ownership of the technical performance and reliability of our production equipment.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring stable plant operations, increasing equipment availability, reducing downtime, and building a stronger maintenance culture focused on prevention, safety, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
YOU WILL
- Lead the technical performance of the plant by ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment.
- Strengthen preventive maintenance practices, improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime.
- Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Build a proactive maintenance culture focused on prevention, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, creating clarity, accountability, and technical discipline.
- Ensure strong cooperation with Production, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and other key stakeholders.
- Set clear priorities in urgent or production-critical situations.
- Support maintenance planning, spare parts coordination, technical documentation, and technical standards.
- Contribute to technical upgrades, improvement projects, and operational excellence initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Experience in maintenance, engineering, technical operations, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, automation, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to turn technical problems into practical, sustainable solutions.
• Leadership experience or strong leadership potential and the ambition to develop others.
• Genuine passion for machinery, technology, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on, structured, and results-oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate across different levels of the organization.
• Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong computer skills; experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.
Education
- Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
