Indirect Purchasing Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS 

• University graduate, preferably from relevant departments,
• At least 5 years of experience in a Purchasing Specialist position,
• Good knowledge in English,
• Strong negotiation and communication skills,
• Experience in supplier relationship management,
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions,
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools,
• Excellent organizational and time management skills,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an Indirect Purchasing Specialist for our corrugated board and packaging plant in Denizli. This role will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet business objectives,
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms,
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies,
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels,
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities,
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations,
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery,
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities,
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data,
• Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and control costs,
• Utilize purchasing skills to optimize supply chain efficiency.
