In order to strengthen our team we are looking for a

 

DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

for a Data Lake project

 

YOU WILL.

 

MAIN TASKS

  • manage IaaS/PaaS for a data lake project on a Microsoft Azure Architecture 
  • implement monitoring strategy in Azure using Azure Monitor 
  • Datalake administration: permissions, data volumes, archives, data consistency 
  • implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (Terraform/Azure ARM), trouble-shoot issues and manage changes. 
  • provide emergency response as needed to correct system failure 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • DevOps mindset – understand of the big picture and familiar with DevOps methods 
  • Experience working in an international environment 
  • Azure monitor, Azure policies 
  • Azure DevOps, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Databricks, Blob storage
  • Power BI know-how
  • DBA Skills
  • Scripting skills – at least one of: Bash, PowerShell, Python 
  • Experience with some of the following: Git, GitLab, Docker, Rancher, Jenkins, ELK, Redis, Ansible, Terraform, Spinnaker, GitOps, Kubeflow 
  • Containerisation technologies (e.g. docker, k8s) 
  • Azure Automation - Runbooks (combining with PowerShell) and REST API know-how of advantage. 
  • Troubleshooting skills
